Submission Guidelines
To be considered for publication submissions must meet the following criteria:
- Unsolicited manuscripts are accepted, but we prefer to have authors discuss their ideas with the editors prior to submitting a manuscript. Feature articles are primarily solicited by the editors and are selected based on their relevance to the major themes present in the work of the SoL community. Currently the themes we are focusing on are: large system change, leadership development, cross-sector collaboration, innovations in practice, sustainability, and youth and eduction. In addition, we look for practicability, rigor and relevance in research, a consideration of tools and methods, and the voice of the practitioner. Feature articles are generally less than 5,000 words, commentaries are less than 1,500 words. EBR>

- Contributions should be accompanied by a short biography for each author including contact information and a clear description of the author's relationship to any case material.
- All contributions to the Emerging Knowledge Forum should include mention of the literature the current work uses as a foundation, as well as any implications for further research and theory development as relevant.
- All contributions to the Emerging Knowledge Forum should also include specific requests for input, or issues for discussion. If you would like us to request comments from particular SoL members, please provide their names.
